High Schools

The Collegiate Sports Data application is your one stop spot for managing your collegiate bound athletes.  CSD has hundreds of colleges at all levels who look for players from your school.  It is important to evaluate your kids at the correct collegiate level as college coaches are looking for very specific needs.  In addition, most colleges are looking for specific GPAs (both high and low to recruit) so please supply this information.  As a final note, coaches want to contact prospects when the time is right and our most requested piece of information after your rating and their GPA is their mobile phone.

In the coming month, we have an exciting piece to add to your CSD team page.  We will begin to show your collegiate activity around your team; i.e. what level of schools are looking at your athletes, when they are transferring your data to other systems, etc.  You will be able to begin to get a pulse of the collegiate interest surrounding your players.

Recruiting Tip! Please enter Freshmen and Sophomore athletes if they are Division 1AA or higher.  We do not show 9th and 10th grade prospects to college coaches if you have rated them below D1AA.  This is because colleges are not interested in D2 or lower prospects at such a young age.  Prospects who are Juniors and Seniors should be entered as early as their Junior year if they are DII or lower.  DII and DIII schools begin to build their lists and target databases at that time.

Dashboard

Once you log into your team, the CSD app displays your Dashboard and shows any outstanding Tasks that are needed to be completed by you.  Double-click on the Task to go to it or click on Roster to Add/Edit your college prospects.  We also offer a Light and Dark theme for your viewing preference.

Roster

Colleges do not access your team profile page directly, but the student athletes that are listed in your Roster page are made available to collegiate coaches in their CSD application if they have purchased your recruiting area.  Every player you add to this roster will be visible to college coaches.  We recommend you complete as much information as you possibly can in order to help your recruits.  

You can easily add/update or remove college prospects from your team by clicking the proper button on the toolbar to the left of the search window.

Colleges consistently request height, weight, position, GPA and cell phone from us for every prospect.  However, the main reason they use the CSD app is because you, the head coach, are the scout.  This means that they rely on your rating for each prospect as well as your notes on strengths and weaknesses.  Your prospects are not allowed to see this information and it is privately stored for your staff and the collegiate coaches that want to see it.

Staff

The CSD app allows you to add additional staff members to help manage your team.  You can easily add/update or remove staff members from your school profile by clicking the proper button on the toolbar to the left of the search window.  We recommend that you complete as much information as you can so college coaches have many ways to contact with you and your staff.
