Schools

Use the Schools function to identify high schools across the country with college-level football prospects using information about the high school.

To access the Schools function, click the Menu button and then Schools.

Use the Enter School Info field to enter keywords you know about the high school to help find the school. Keywords that work best are part of the high school name. Correct spelling is ideal, although Schools will provide best-guess matches if spelling is not exact.  Once the Enter Schools Info field contains your keyword search criteria, select Find School and the results will be returned on the lines below.

Schools returns a maximum of 20 response rows on a school search unless changes are made using the Filter OFF/ON function. Use Filter OFF/ON to help refine your search criteria and get results for public or private high schools or high schools in a certain state.

To access the Filter OFF/ON function, click on Filter OFF located in the top right corner of the Schools screen. Three filter criteria will appear that are intended to help refine the scope of the high school search.

If School Type (either public or private) is known, click on the School Type field, select a School Type, and click Done to limit your high school search to a specific School Type only.

If the high school State you are searching for is known, click on the State field, select a State, and click Done to limit your high school search to a specific State only.

Use the Rows Returned field to specify the number of result rows you want returned for the high school search. Click on the Rows Returned field, select desired number of Rows Returned (from 1 – 50), and click Done.

Any combination of filter criteria can be used to refine your high school search. Use one, two, or all three filter criteria at once to help make your search more specific. After the desired filter criteria are set, select Done at top right of screen to save the criteria. The CSD App will return to the Schools screen. Confirm the Enter School Info reflects your desired keyword search and select Find School to view search results.

When a filter criteria is in use, Filter ON will appear at the top right of the Schools screen. **Results will not appear correctly if a filter is left on between searches.  Be sure to turn off the filter when moving on to a new search.**  To remove the filter criteria , select Filter ON and then Reset at the top right of the Filter OFF/ON screen.  The criteria will read All, All, and 20 once reset.  Select Done and return to the Enter School Info screen. 

To change the filter criteria , select Filter OFF/ON, change the desired filter criteria, and select Done at the top right of the Filter OFF/ON screen and return to the Enter School Info screen. Confirm the School Search Info reflects your desired keyword search and select Find School to view search results.  

Use your finger to drag and scroll through the search results.  Depending on the number of Rows Returned, some results may be above or below the results screen.
